Installing and configuring the Athena technology and core Activity assets is fairly painless so long as you follow the steps required.
Athena Technology Installation
Download the Athena installation program. Double click to run the installer, you may run the installer multiple times and upgrading is simply a matter of downloading running the newest version. After installation you will need to set the Athena configuration.
Do not proceed any further if installation and configuration are not correct the Asset installer will not function!
Athena Core Assets Installation
Download the Core Assets file.
As all installation is via the TrainzUtil program a valid 'Trainz Asset Database' (TAD) is required, load CMP and allow it to build the TAD if necessary, installation will fail if the TAD is not stable, leave CMP running and then double click to run the installer, you may run the installer multiple times and upgrading is simply a matter of downloading running the newest version. For general usage there is no need to perform any configuration.
After installation when loading Trainz you should see the 'Activities' option on the main Trainz screen.
