This Activity is a continuation of Supply Run: Murchison to Lucy's Gully.
This one takes you from Lucy's Gully to Pete's Gully, Tui Glen and then to Kauri Creek.
There are steep grades so keep your speed up.
Conversely, keep your speed way down at Tui Glen wye. This is a very tight squeeze and it is very easy to derail.

Drop off supplies to various logging camps on the Murchison 2 - Hi detail route.
This is the first section of the run - from Murchison to Lucy's Gully. The next section - from Lucy's Gully to Kauri Creek will follow.
There are many steep gradients and as the engines are underpowered, it is vital you maintain momentum when driving uphill.
If you like a challenge, then drive in CAB mode down the hill into Lucy's Gully.

Newcastle Freight

This is a free introductory Activity for the Razorback Railway.
It uses the built-in ECML route so there are no extra dependencies to download.
Start off in Newcastle and drive your BR Class 55 Deltics through the washer.
Run light engine down to Tyne Yard to pick up your train, then take it to Darlington.
You will have to pull into a siding just outside Durham to allow a Kings Cross HST 125 to pass. You'll be 'Riding the Yellows' for the rest of your trip.
For safety reasons you must turn on your headlight before starting your journey.
The horn must be sounded when starting off, either forward or reverse and also at crossings.
The DVS (Driver Vigilance System) must be cancelled when displayed using the F8 key. There is no accompanying sound alert.
A SPAD (Signal Passed At Danger) will terminate your employment immediately.
Stay alert, but most of all, have fun!

LOAD COAL

Pick up your train at the station and drive to the coal mine.
Leave the wagons in #2 road.
You won't have enough power to pull both rakes of coal so back you go for an extra loco
Uncouple and drive the loco to the triangle and couple to the loco waiting there.
Reverse the 2 locos on the triangle and return to the mine.
Load the coal, then drive back to the station where you will take some wagons off.
Change over locos to the yard diesel, pick up the wagons taken off the coal train
and deliver them around the layout clearing other wagons as you go.
Eventually returning to the Station yard.
This is a good opportunity to observe the difference in HI Detail and Lo Detailso when you have opened T12 Click on “Main Menu / Options /RBR Settings” and click on the box for Hi and Lo detail
If it is already checked and you uncheck it, when you start the Activity you will notice some of the wagons and also some of the landscape is also different.
I suggest you try it both ways for effect.
Have fun

Loc 01 Murchison Freight

Murchison Freight build 714
This Activity requires Murchison 2
Athena build 846 and core 486 or later.
The speed readings have been changed to Imperial in keeping with the speed signs.
Nothing else has been changed.
Make up a double unit at Murchison and couple to your train.
Follow the local railmotor up the grade.
Pass a large freight coming down and then a railmotor .
Place the chip wagons at Ranfurly mill and then wait in #2 road for a steamer load of bricks to come down the single track and pass.
When clear, head on out and clear clay wagons from Kao Quarry.
At Collingwood shunt off the livestock and couple it to the shunter.]
Pull up to the opposite the platform and follow the railmotor.
It's a straight run home to Wynton from there and you will have time to see the fair at Rutherglen and then see the passenger boats working the river.
Have fun and try to remember to sound your horn at crossings and don't run any Reds.
