I have just finished playing JLA First Day, after a long break, and felt the need to inform any New Drivers the benefits of making 2004 the starting point of your 'Virtual Train Driving Experience". If you don't experience these earlier Scenarios you cannot appreciate the knowledge, the knowhow, the expertise and the dedication of 'The Crew' behind the scenes, who have produced such wonderful and enjoyable Scenarios for all to enjoy. Having said that, I intend to concentrate on 2004 until as such time I read in the Forums that all 'BUGS' have been exterminated, and the 'Road is Clear' for another enjoyable 'Playing experience' in the 2012 Format. As a matter of fact, even after 10 attempts I still got 5 Speeding Fines, penalised for running late, couldn't get the 'Red Mongerel' to go any faster than 79kph. But overall what a great Scenario ! 17 Late - Rating 9/10. Not bad for an 'Old Fart' Cheers Mal

I'm not sure I would call it a "revolt", but I'm with you. I continue to fully enjoy all of the scenarios that were, and still are, available for TRS2004. That is the only Trainz version I have installed on my Windows XP "gaming" system. Between TRS2004 and MS Flight Simulator X, that system gets a workout every week. My TS12 is on a "spare" Windows 7 system, primarily used for testing and running various Virtual Machines using VMWare.
Knowing how much fun the TRS2004 scenarios are is the reason behind my excitement about the TS12 project. That's why I am participating in the tests as they become available. Not only does my participation feed my hope for TS12 activities, but it also helps the developers, in some small way. I can't write activities or create routes, but I can provide useful (hopefully) feedback on what is working and what isn't, at least on my system. It doesn't have to be bugless for it to be fun.
Cheers back at you,
Greg
